#22 dry fly hooks for micro fishing. This type of hook is good for chubs, pirate perch, dwarf sunfish and all but the smallest of the micros. Size #22 hooks are a good size to have in your tackle bag fishing for micros.
The angled eye makes it perfect for either a modified clinch knot, or my favorite, a snell knot. For the smell knot simply put the mainline through the hook and make your loop. Twist the rear end of the loop so that only the front of the line loop wraps the hook shank. Pull the mainline to take out the loop slack then pull the tag end of the loop to tighten up the smell knot. For small hooks like these a pair of forceps holding the hook makes it way easier.
